Who We Are

Special Olympics BC (SOBC) delivers year-round high-quality sport programs to people with intellectual disabilities throughout our province.

SOBC-Abbotsford offers a curling program for those 11+ years with an intellectual disability. We teach stick and hack delivery, sweeping, team play, and game strategy.

All participants must be registered with SOBC-Abbotsford and agree to abide by all sport rules and policies of Special Olympics.

Curling Details

Curling is offered weekly (Thursday), starting October 16, 2025 and ending mid-March 2026.

  • Novice/beginner curlers instruction/practice: 3:30 to 4:45 pm
  • Competitive curlers instruction/practice: 4:00 to 5:15 pm
    • Competitive curlers must have 2 seasons experience or coach approval.
