Welcome to the 2025 Abbotsford Curling Classic Cashspiel, sponsored by Major Welding as part of the BC Curling Tour and WCT.
- Triple knockout format
- Curl Canada rules (no tick rule in effect)
- 8 end games, extra end if tied
- Pre-game practices begin 30 minutes prior to the game start time.
- Teams will flip a coin to determine first practice and rock colour.
- There will be a 10-minute pre-game practice (8 rocks up and 8 rocks back) before each draw.
- Following the pre-game practice, 1 player will draw to the button to determine hammer. If both teams cover the pin a different player will draw again.
- Opposing teams will measure the LSD.
- Any turn or side of the sheet may be used during practice.
- In the Playoff round, the team qualifying from the higher event will be awarded hammer, rock colour, and will practice first. If both teams qualified out of the same event, then the preliminary round rule will be employed.
- The event will start Friday at 8:00am with the Finals on Sunday.
- The café will be open to provide food and drinks on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
